An art trade for ~XJapanRoX. He asked me to do KH1 Cloud Strife.
I'm really proud of this one. It took me two hours to get the drawing done, then another two to get the coloring finished. But I'm really pleased with the result. Cloud Strife in KH1 is possibly one of the greatest and the hardest character designs ever. I mean, we all knew he was a hero, but just by looking at the guy in the first Kingdom Hearts game, he didn't seem as good as we thought he was. With that flowing red cloak and ominous black wing, he appeared more like a villain than a hero. Plus, the costume design is so complicated. Forget zippers; Nomura really had a thing for belts with this guy. >> Why they didn't bring this costume design into the second Kingdom Hearts game, I have no idea. |
